How it works
- 1Pick a photo and a canvas size
Pets, family, a trip, a favorite painting. Frame it on a real canvas size like 16×20 in or 40×50 cm.
- 2Choose colors and detail
12 to 36 colors, large or fine regions. Tiny regions that a brush can't reach are merged for you.
- 3Print, trace, paint
Print on Letter or A4 and tape the sheets together, or print full size at a shop. Then paint each number with its color.
What you get
Smooth outlines with a number in every region, sharp at any print size.
Parts of each paint to mix every color, using only the tubes you have.
Tiled Letter or A4 sheets with overlap guides, or one sheet at canvas size.
Tap regions to fill them on screen and see how it will look before you paint.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Patterns, mixing recipes and PDFs are free, with no watermark and no sign-up.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The pattern is made inside your browser, and your projects are saved only on this device. Clearing your browser data removes them.
How do I get the pattern onto my canvas?
Print the tiled PDF at 100% (not "fit to page"), tape the sheets along the gray overlap strips, and trace the lines onto the canvas with graphite or carbon transfer paper. The painting guide walks through it.
What paints should I buy?
A basic acrylic set is enough. Titanium White and a few primaries do most of the work. Tell Numbrush which tubes you have and every recipe is recalculated for them.
Which photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos with one main subject. Faces need a larger canvas or finer detail to keep their features.
